Vehicle Flips Over on Interstate 40

Knoxville, TN (August 3, 2020) The Rural Metro Fire and Knox County Rescue arrived at the scene of a car accident that occurred on Interstate 40 on August 3. The accident involved a vehicle that flipped off the interstate that trapped two occupants, who were later extricated from the vehicle. Both victims were later transported to a nearby hospital by an ambulance.

Most often in this type of accident, one vehicle struck at the side from the front of another vehicle and pushed over from the subsequent force.
