Cumberland County Sees Fourth Pedestrian Accident in a Little Over a Month
Cumberland County, TN (August 21, 2020) For the fourth time in slightly over a month, an accident occurred in Cumberland County in which a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. This accident occurred on August 21st on the 1,000 block of Lake Tansi’s Natchez Trace. Law enforcement reports that during a domestic dispute, a woman struck a man with a Dodge Dart and then left the scene. Despite bleeding from his arms and legs, the victim refused medical treatment at first. Law enforcement later stopped the woman at the corner of Highway 70 East and Peavine Road. The woman was then taken to the Cumberland County jail. Additional details about the accident are still pending.
