Crash on Interstate 75 Leads to Injury

Knox County, TN (April 6, 2021) A crash on the evening of April 6th led to the closure of Interstate 75 southbound in Knox County. A medical helicopter was sent to the location for at least one patient who was injured in the crash. The crash occurred a short distance north of Powell. As a result of the crash, the interstate at mile marker 113 was closed. Additional details regarding the accident are still under investigation.
