Crash Occurs on Highway 70 North in Cumberland County

Cumberland County, TN (January 14, 2021) A car crash occurred at 11:25 am central on January 14th in the 11,500 block of Highway 70 North, which is located just north of Plateau Road close to Linder Loop. Motorists are advised to exercise caution while passing through the area. Additional details including what caused the accident remain uncertain.

The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security has found that as of September 30, 2020, there were 18 deadly car crashes in Cumberland County for the year as well as 222 crashes including injuries and 647 crashes involving property damage only. Injuries are frequently divided into two categories: impact injuries in which a victim’s body strikes an object during the crash and penetrating injuries in which an object penetrates a person’s body. Some of the most common injuries known to result from Tennessee car accidents include soft tissue injuries, scrapes and cuts, head injuries, chest injuries, arm and leg injuries, back injuries, and internal injuries.
