Cookeville Crash Claims Life of Mother and 2 Children

Cookeville, TN (January 26, 2021) Three people were killed in a crash that occurred in Cookeville on the morning of January 26th. The accident occurred around 8 in the morning close to the intersection of Willow Avenue and Interstate Drive. Law enforcement at the scene confirmed that the pursuit of a vehicle approaching an intersection led to a truck t-boning a vehicle and killing a mother and her two children. Due to the crash, the road was temporarily closed. The road, however, seems to be open again and traffic is now moving in both directions.
