Pedestrian Hospitalized Following Johnson City Crash
Johnson City, TN (February 27, 2021) A Tennessee woman was placed in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle early on the morning of February 27th. The Johnson City Police Department responded to a crash around 4 in the morning on February 27th following an accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian that occurred on West State of Franklin Road close to Watauga Avenue. Officials report that the driver of a Nissan Rogue with Virginia license plates was traveling east on State of Franklin when the driver collided with a pedestrian who was crossing the road. The pedestrian has since been identified by law enforcement and was transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment of her injuries. The victim is listed in critical condition.
