Fatality Reported After Roane County Crash

Roane County, TN (February 4, 2021) The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to a deadly crash on the morning of February 4th that occurred in eastern Roane County. The accident involved the driver of a Ford Mustang who was traveling west on Buttermilk Road around 1 a.m. and failed to negotiate a right turn in the road. After the vehicle went off road, the Mustang became airborne and overturned. The driver was subsequently ejected from his vehicle and died from injuries incurred in the crash.

A decade later in 2020, the agency reports that 8 people lost their lives in Roane County car crashes.
